hameau des bouts There are 150 kms of well marked paths accross forests and alpine meadows.
You will see the cows roaming the high mountain pasture.

Several mountain lakes can be reached easily. If you go to the lake of Peyre, you will probably see some bouquetins!

You can also practise mountain biking or take some lessons in paragliding.

la piscine In the village, a full range of activities are available : there is a large swiming pool with slide and kid facilities, a 9 hole golf course , some tennis courts...

Children are very well catered for with lots of activities organised by the tourist office.
The traditional alpine faming is still alive.
You could sample some fresh dairy products from the farms scattered around the mountains and taste the local cheese called Reblochon.

In La Clusaz (6 kms), there is also a summer luge track, a skating-rink.

le festival au bonheur des mômes There are plenty of enjoyable "fetes" and festivals during the summer weekends.
At the end of August the Bonheur des Mômes children's festival takes place with entertainment from all over the world.

You could also choose to tour the area : Annecy and its narrow canals in the old city and the lake, reputated to be the cleanest lake in Europe (30 kms) ; Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc or Geneva's lake (1 hour).
